President Trump Weighs In On Jarvis Valentine’s Entrance Music Controversy
Posted on September 22, 2025 by Rumor Man Stan in RumorsThe debate over UTA Champion Jarvis Valentine’s use of Tom MacDonald’s “American Flags” as his entrance theme took an unexpected turn this week when former President Donald Trump addressed the subject during a press conference.
Never one to shy away from wrestling references—or feuds of any kind—Trump was asked about the backlash from politically left-leaning groups toward Valentine’s music choice. His response quickly turned into a rant that parodied his recent remarks about late-night host Jimmy Kimmel.
"I saw what they’re saying about Jarvis Valentine. Terrible. Absolutely ridiculous," Trump told reporters. "He’s the champion, the top guy, everybody’s talking about him, and they don’t like his song? Give me a break. Jarvis is a winner, he’s got the look, the power—much better than these so-called critics, who by the way, couldn’t win a belt if their lives depended on it. Total losers."
Trump went on to claim that Valentine’s entrance music has made him “more popular than ever” and suggested that the outrage was actually a positive for the UTA. "The ratings go up, the people are chanting his name, and all these woke groups are crying. Sad! Jarvis Valentine is playing them like a fiddle."
The President even took a shot at the groups calling for UTA to step in: "If they ran wrestling, there’d be no steel cages, no chairs, no excitement. It would be the most boring show you’ve ever seen. Nobody would watch it. Nobody."
But Democratic politicians quickly pushed back, echoing concerns from advocacy groups. Representative Maria Sanchez (D-CA) released a statement criticizing both Valentine’s decision and Trump’s comments.
"Wrestling is entertainment, but it is also a stage with millions of eyes watching," Sanchez wrote. "When performers glorify artists like Tom MacDonald—whose work often traffics in division and inflammatory rhetoric—they normalize it for fans, especially younger ones. The UTA should be mindful of the message it sends, rather than dismissing legitimate concerns as ‘woke outrage.’"
Sanchez further added that wrestling has the power to inspire and unite, and warned that “platforming artists who thrive on stoking resentment only undermines that.”
When asked about the situation, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) gave a more unexpected response: "I like cheese, especially Swiss as it has those little holes in it. It’s cute."
Her comments, though unrelated, instantly went viral—leaving fans to debate whether it was a deliberate attempt to dodge the question or simply a lighthearted non-sequitur.
With the President weighing in on one side, Democrats voicing concern on the other, and AOC adding… cheese to the conversation, Jarvis Valentine’s entrance music has gone from an in-arena spectacle to a surreal national talking point.
