Opening Recap
The UTA Superstars made a special stop at The WrestleZone inside Universal Studios for another action-packed installment of IN THE ZONE. With championship implications, rivalries deepening, and the East Coast Invasion looming large, the atmosphere inside the Orlando arena was electric from the opening bell.
Dante Rivera vs. Graham Keel
Dante Rivera, fresh off an impressive performance last week, looked to keep his momentum rolling. However, veteran powerhouse Graham Keel had other plans. Keel controlled the early pace with his brawler’s offense, using his strength to keep Rivera grounded.
Dante fired back with sharp strikes and aerial agility, nearly catching Keel off-guard with a springboard knee strike. But the veteran recovered, countered a diving crossbody into a crushing powerslam, and followed with the Keelhaul Driver for the win.
Winner: Graham Keel
Emily Hightower vs. Shannon Ray
Emily Hightower once again proved why she’s among the best technical wrestlers in the division, putting her Women’s U.S. Title on the line against Shannon Ray. The challenger came in confident, trying to exploit Emily’s back with targeted attacks, but the champion’s precision striking and composure told the story.
In the closing moments, Emily reversed a Ray cutter attempt into a smooth takedown before hitting the Ode to My Father. Another statement win for the reigning champion.
Winner and Still Women’s U.S. Champion: Emily Hightower
El Fantasma (w/Madman Szalinski) vs. Velocity Vanguard
Tag team chaos erupted when El Fantasma, flanked by the unpredictable Madman Szalinski, faced Velocity Vanguard. Tyler Cruz and Jet Lawson of Vanguard kept the pace frantic, using tandem offense to stay ahead early.
However, Szalinski’s presence at ringside turned the tide. A well-timed distraction gave El Fantasma the opening to deliver a spinning heel kick followed by The Phantom Finish, sealing the victory as Madman cackled ringside.
Winners: El Fantasma
Eric Dane Jr. vs Silas Grimm
The main event saw Eric Dane Jr. put his WrestleZone Championship on the line against the menacing Silas Grimm. Grimm used his size and intensity to dominate the first half, but Dane Jr.’s endurance and technique shone through.
A series of counters highlighted the final stretch — Grimm attempted his Night Terror Chokeslam, but Dane Jr. slipped free and nailed a leaping knee strike. Seconds later, The Star Driver II connected, and the champion scored the pinfall in a grueling contest.
Winner and Still WrestleZone Champion: Eric Dane Jr.
Closing
IN THE ZONE ended with Eric Dane Jr. standing tall, title raised high, as highlights from the night’s action played across the screen. Emily Hightower’s dominance, El Fantasma’s eerie resurgence, and Graham Keel’s veteran victory all set the stage for the next chapter in UTA’s journey through the East Coast Invasion.
