IN THE ZONE
Introduction
John Phillips: Welcome to another high-voltage edition of IN THE ZONE, live from the one and only WrestleZone inside Universal Studios Orlando!
Mark Bravo: John, we’re just two days away from Rumble at the WrestleZone—the next stop on the road to WrestleUTA: 25! And tonight? All three of our Orlando champions are in the house.
John Phillips: That's right—Aaron Shaffer, Angela Hall, and Jarvis Valentine are all in action tonight, and by the end of this episode, we might finally know which one of them stands at the top of the WrestleUTA: Orlando mountain.
Mark Bravo: Plus, the return of Mr. Juan Calderon, a women's showdown to open the night, and a familiar face makes things personal with the Florida State Champ.
John Phillips: The energy is off the charts, and the stakes keep getting higher. This is IN THE ZONE, and it starts now!
Jamie Mayo vs. Nancy Rhodes
John Phillips: Kicking off the night with a bang—Jamie Mayo and Nancy Rhodes put on a clinic in ring intensity.
Mark Bravo: Rhodes came in looking for a fight—and she brought it. Sliding Dagger Dropkick, Spinning Razor Elbow, and a Scarlet Scissors attempt that almost ended things early.
John Phillips: But Jamie Mayo showed incredible grit. She rallied with a springboard Snap Drop Neckbreaker, followed by her signature Tiger Claw Lariat.
Mark Bravo: Nancy had her dead to rights with the Razor’s Redemption, but Jamie countered into a Roll-Up Falcon Twist!
Referee: One… Two… Three!
John Phillips: Mayo steals the win in a thrilling opener! A breakout moment here for Jamie Mayo—and a tough loss for the always-relentless Nancy Rhodes.
The Champions Converge
Camera cuts to a backstage hallway—Jarvis Valentine adjusts his Florida State Championship as Angela Hall walks up, her Women's title over her shoulder. Moments later, Aaron Shaffer joins the scene, glancing at his WrestleZone Championship with a grin.
Angela Hall: “Guess the whole set’s here.”
Aaron Shaffer: “Funny—we're all champs, but only one of us is the face of Orlando.”
Jarvis Valentine: “Let me guess—you think it’s you?”
Angela Hall: “I know it’s not either of you.”
Aaron Shaffer: “How about we find out tonight?”
Jarvis Valentine: “Good. Because after tonight, there won’t be any doubt who really runs The WrestleZone.”
All three glare at each other—champions united by pride, divided by ambition.
Mr. Juan Calderon vs. Nicholas Herrera
John Phillips: This one had fireworks from the bell. Mr. Juan Calderon strutted out to a pyro-laced entrance, but Nicholas Herrera was ready for war.
Mark Bravo: Herrera’s strikes were sharp—Tilt-a-Whirl Slam, Corkscrew Neckbreaker, even a close call after the Hangtime Elbow.
John Phillips: Calderon battled back with Chain Reaction Suplexes and a Spark Plug Elbow that fired up the crowd. He baited Herrera into a misstep and hit the Voltage Drop.
Mark Bravo: That led to the Catalyst Crush right in the middle of the ring!
Referee: One… Two… Three!
John Phillips: Another strong win for Calderon, and he’s quickly becoming one of the most unpredictable—and entertaining—stars in the Orlando locker room.
B.R Ellis is Here
Backstage—Jarvis Valentine is walking with his Florida State title when B.R Ellis steps into frame. The crowd audibly reacts from the arena.
B.R Ellis: “Jarvis.”
Valentine stops, turns slowly.
B.R Ellis: “Tough break at One Last Stop. Brick Bronson… man, he walked out champion. But hey… you’ve still got this.”
He taps the Florida State Championship with a smirk.
B.R Ellis: “For now.”
Ellis walks off without another word. Jarvis clenches his jaw, watching him go.
John Phillips: That’s not just a message—that’s a warning.
Mark Bravo: Ellis hasn’t forgotten that second-round clash in the tournament. And now he’s got gold in his sights.
Aaron Shaffer vs Angela Hall vs. Jarvis Valentine
John Phillips: It’s time—the three champions collide. No titles on the line… but bragging rights? Oh, they’re everything tonight.
Mark Bravo: Angela Hall hit the ring with blue lightning crashing behind her. Shaffer followed, wind machines at full blast—and Jarvis? All business, still clearly rattled from Ellis’ earlier interruption.
John Phillips: The bell rang and it was chaos. Angela and Shaffer doubled up on Jarvis early with a Double Dropkick, but Jarvis roared back with a Double Clothesline and a Patriot Plunge attempt on Angela—broken up by Shaffer!
Mark Bravo: Hall took flight with a Storm Surge Moonsault, Shaffer retaliated with a Gale Force Dropkick, and Jarvis laid both out with a Corner Clothesline -> German Suplex combo!
John Phillips: Everyone had their moments—Angela nearly tapped Aaron with Calm Before the Storm, and Jarvis nearly hit the Q Drop on both!
Mark Bravo: But then—B.R Ellis walked onto the ramp.
The crowd booed loudly as Ellis stood with arms crossed, smirking.
John Phillips: Jarvis spotted him—and that second of hesitation was all it took. Angela turned, Jarvis froze, and—
Mark Bravo: —Stormbreaker from Aaron Shaffer on Angela Hall!
Referee: One… Two… THREE!
John Phillips: Shaffer wins! The WrestleZone Champion just pinned the Women’s Champion—while the Florida State Champ fumed!
Jarvis Valentine stood stunned in the corner as Shaffer celebrated. B.R Ellis took a few slow steps down the ramp, locking eyes with Jarvis.
Mark Bravo: This wasn’t about Aaron Shaffer. This was about sending a message.
John Phillips: And the message is clear: B.R Ellis is coming for Jarvis Valentine—and he doesn’t care who he has to step over to get there.
B.R Ellis stands halfway down the ramp, arms folded and proud. In the ring, Jarvis grips his title… and glares back. Aaron Shaffer raises his own belt high in the background, a silent “I told you so.” Angela Hall rolls to the apron, holding her ribs. The tension is palpable.
John Phillips: We'll see you this Friday at Rumble at the WrestleZone… and next week, right back here on IN THE ZONE.
