IN THE ZONE
Introduction
John Phillips: Welcome back, everyone, to another jam-packed edition of IN THE ZONE, live from The WrestleZone here at Universal Studios Orlando!
Mark Bravo: John, last week ended with absolute chaos. Eric Dane Jr. had barely debuted when he got ambushed by a masked lunatic—and we still don’t know who was behind it.
John Phillips: And let’s not forget our main event—Jarvis Valentine defended the Florida State Championship against UTA veteran Graham Keel, proving that Orlando isn’t just developmental—it’s legit.
Mark Bravo: Tonight’s gonna be nuts, folks. We've got a major debut, a WrestleZone title match, and Angela Hall back in action!
John Phillips: Let’s not waste another second—IN THE ZONE #3 starts now!
Mr. Juan Calderon vs. Donald Reid
John Phillips: The lights dimmed and a thick fog rolled across the entrance ramp. From the mist, Donald Reid emerged like a specter—silent, cloaked, his glowing eyes peering beneath the hood.
Mark Bravo: I’m telling you, John, that dude doesn’t walk to the ring—he floats.
John Phillips: But then—BOOM! Sparks exploded on the tron, and Mr. Juan Calderon stepped out, wearing a grin like he already knew the script’s ending. Pyros blasted, and the crowd popped.
Mark Bravo: I love this guy. Wrestling's own action hero.
John Phillips: They locked up hard. Reid struck first—Wraith Suplex, followed by a Phantom Plancha off the ropes. Calderon rolled to his feet and answered with a Flashpoint DDT that rattled Reid’s spine!
Mark Bravo: That was perfectly timed. You could hear the thud from here.
John Phillips: Calderon kept the pace high—Combustion Crossbody, then a blinding Spark Plug Elbow while Reid staggered.
Mark Bravo: Reid tried to vanish after a Shadow Strike, but Calderon caught him in mid-disappearance with a Voltage Drop!
John Phillips: That set up the final sequence—Calderon hit a corner lariat, dazing Reid, then charged in with the Catalyst Crush!
Referee: One… Two… Three!
Mark Bravo: BOOM! Juan Calderon explodes onto the scene with a blockbuster debut win!
John Phillips: A fiery victory from a man who treats the ring like a movie set—and tonight, he got the perfect take.
Cristian Santos Open Challenge
John Phillips: Next up, we heard earlier today that Cristian Santos, fresh off winning the WrestleZone Championship, issued an open challenge to anyone in the back.
Mark Bravo: That’s not confidence—that’s territorial dominance. Santos wants blood.
John Phillips: And who stepped up? Aaron Shaffer. The crowd ERUPTED when those wind machines kicked on.
Mark Bravo: The skater savant against the South Texas savage—let’s go!
John Phillips: The bell rang, and Santos charged like a beast. He bulldozed Shaffer with a Running Bomber, followed by a Feral Spinebuster that shook the ring.
Mark Bravo: Santos howled—but he howled too soon. Shaffer dodged the Bonecrusher Knee and hit a Whirlwind DDT outta nowhere!
John Phillips: The match turned into a storm—Shaffer launched into a Gale Force Dropkick, then hit the ropes for a Storm Surge Moonsault—cover!
Referee: One… Two—kickout!
Mark Bravo: They went to war. Santos roared back with a Savage Lariat, then dragged Shaffer into a setup for Hell’s Gate—
John Phillips: —BUT SHAFFER REVERSED! Twister Slam into the corner! He climbed up, measured it—
Mark Bravo: Eye of the Storm!!!
John Phillips: Santos rolled to his knees—right into the Stormbreaker!
Referee: One… Two… THREE!
Mark Bravo: ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? SHAFFER DID IT! SHAFFER IS THE NEW WRESTLEZONE CHAMPION!
John Phillips: Orlando is on its feet! Cristian Santos’s reign lasted one week—and now Aaron Shaffer has the gold!
Mark Bravo: That storm rolled in fast, and Santos never saw it coming. What a moment.
Angela Hall vs Nancy Rhodes
John Phillips: When Angela Hall steps into the ring, it’s like watching a lightning strike in real time. She walked out to that signature flash of blue, all business.
Mark Bravo: But Nancy Rhodes is a fighter, John. Elbows sharp as glass and no fear of anyone.
John Phillips: Rhodes struck first—Spinning Razor Elbow, then a Sliding Dagger Dropkick to Hall’s knee that brought the champion down hard.
Mark Bravo: Rhodes locked in Scarlet Scissors, trying to sap Hall’s speed—but Angela gritted it out and reached the ropes just in time.
John Phillips: Hall rebounded fast—Cyclone DDT flipped the tide. Then she surged with a Thunderclap Spear, nearly cutting Rhodes in two.
Mark Bravo: Rhodes went for Razor’s Redemption, but Hall escaped—hit a Raging Rapids Suplex, then pulled Rhodes into the corner for her setup—
John Phillips: Double Powerbomb into the Hurricane Hammer!
Referee: One… Two… Three!
Mark Bravo: Angela Hall retains again! She’s like lightning in a bottle—uncontainable.
John Phillips: Nancy Rhodes brought the fury, but Angela’s precision and endurance shined through once more.
Closing Thoughts & What’s Ahead
John Phillips: What a night—new champions, stunning upsets, and one hell of a statement from Aaron Shaffer.
Mark Bravo: And don’t forget Juan Calderon—what a debut. That man’s made for the spotlight.
John Phillips: But let’s not overlook what’s coming this week… WrestleUTA: One Last Stop is this Friday!
Mark Bravo: The final round of the UTA Championship tournament. Stars from both coasts. Grudges to settle. Titles on the line.
John Phillips: Don’t miss it. And we’ll be right back here next Wednesday with the fallout—what happens now that Shaffer’s the champion? Will Santos retaliate?
Mark Bravo: I guarantee blood, John. Somebody’s gonna get paid back.
John Phillips: For now, I’m John Phillips…
Mark Bravo: …And I’m Mark Bravo. Thanks for watching IN THE ZONE, and we’ll see you next week—same time, same arena!
