MEET THE REJECTS
The show began with some generic rock music playing and while cameras were zoomed out of a dark studio. The studio featured a couch, a chair and a table between the two. There was a silhouette of a body clearly visible sitting in the chair. The cameras zoomed down as lights began to brighten. Cut to a close-up of the man's face.
Man: Hello and welcome to the very first episode of Meet The ReJects! I am your host and lead commentator on Sunday Night Cock Fight, Dolan Jones! This week's guests are "Cowboy" John Potter and "Outlaw" James Smith -- The tag team duo, Texas Hold 'Em!
"The Gambler" as performed by Kenny Rogers played in the studio as two men walked onto the set. "Outlaw" James Smith walked up to Jones, who had risen to his feet, and shook his hand. James sat on the couch closest to Dolan Jones. "Cowboy" John Potter shook Jones' hand for a few moments before he sat next to his partner. Dolan took a moment to shake the pain away from his hand before he sat down in the chair and grabbed some note cards that had been placed on the table.
Dolan: Welcome, gentlemen.
Outlaw: It's a pleasure.
Cowboy: It's my done didilly honor, sir!
Dolan: First thing's first. James, so far, you're the only one of the pair of you to have a match in ReJect Wrestling. So the question goes to you, John. Your partner advanced in the ReJect Championship Tournament. It's my understanding that your match will take place this coming Sunday. Do you expect to take the victory as James has?
Cowboy: Yes, sir! I'm abserlutely expectating that to happen!
Outlaw: Get something straight, Mr. Jones, we are the toughest men in Texas! There is 0 chance that the twos of us ain't going to the final match of the tournament! I beat that pansy to a pulp on Sunday! Do you really think that John here can't beat that bum, Morgan Jameson?!
Dolan: Well, many would say that you stole that victory against Scott E. Moe.
Outlaw: STOLE?!
Cowboy: Is you accusamatizing us as thiefs?!
Dolan: Well, I would say that the fashion that John won his match against Scott E. Moe was extremely underhanded, given that Scott had to deal with the both of you at ringsid.
Outlaw: Get something straight, Mr. Jones, we're not thieves! Did the zebra shirt disqualify me from the match?
Dolan: No.
Cowboy: And bingo was his done didilly name-o!
Dolan: I apologize, I wasn't trying to make accusations. Changing topics. James, you mentioned that you both use the moniker, "The toughest man in Texas." How did that come about? Would you say that one of you is tougher than the other?
Outlaw: Get something straight, Mr. Jones, we ain't no pansies!
Cowboy: That's right!
Outlaw: We ain't gon' start a hissy fit with each other! Cowboy know I is the toughest man in Texas. I knows he be the toughest man in Texas. Ain't nothin' to it!
Cowboy: That's right!
Dolan: Very well. The two of you have been in the business for a number of years. You've worked for a variety of different independent promotions throughout the country. Would you like to share some of your stories or the experiences you have had?
Cowboy: We was the TWL tag team champeens! We beat them crazy Japs and sent them all the way back to Chiner!
Outlaw: We sure done did. Them stupid Japs. Tryin' to blow our faces off with them C4 explosers!
Dolan: TWL, that's the Texas Wrestling Legion, correct?
Outlaw: Yes sir.
Dolan: The two of you defeated Yoshi Nagatoga and Him Se in a death match to win your one and only tag team title.
Cowboy: That's right!
Dolan: What are your memories of that match?
Outlaw: Didn't we just told you? Is you stupid or something?
Cowboy: He be a pure ignoranus!
Dolan: Alright then. So far, ReJect only has the ReJect Championship. Would you be interested in having a tag team title added?
Cowboy: Yewbetcha! Itellyewwhat! If ReJect puts out them there tag team titles we's gon' be the champeens! Forever! Ain't no body could beat the toughest mans in Texas!
Dolan: So then, what are your thoughts on the two other tag teams in ReJect Wrestling?
Cowboy: There's is other tag teamers?
Dolan: Umm, well, yes. Yes there are. There's Caliente y Fria and The Modern Day Missionaries.
Outlaw: Oh, them queer boys and them there illegals. I tell you what, there ain't no chance in no time, no place, no never that they could ever beat me and John here! Not no how! Never!
Dolan: Fair enough. Then how about we close the show? We'll play a quick game of word association.
Cowboy: What's a word asseeashon?
Dolan: I'll give out a name on the ReJect roster, one or both of you give us the first word that comes to your head.
Cowboy: That don't sound like any done didilly game I ever played! Poker, 21, Horse, Kick the Mule, those is games I played before!
Dolan: Well, how about we give it a try? It's not hard. Here, I'll start off with an easy one. Just tell me the first word that comes to your head. Here we go: Mr. Muscles?
Cowboy: He's a good guy, I'ds have a beer or fours of them with him!
Outlaw: Tough. But not tougher then us! We's the toughest mans in Texas!
Dolan: So I've heard. How about: Lunatic?
Outlaw: Pampered, famous, pansy!
Dolan: OK. What about: The Modern Day Missionaries?
Cowboy: They's is a bunch-a queer boy pansies!
Dolan: Caliente y Fria?
Outlaw: Illegals!
Dolan: Robert Fairfield?
Cowboy: Tough old bastard!
Outlaw: I gives him my respect.
Dolan: And finally: Texas Hold 'Em
Cowboy: We is gon' be the ReJect Champeens!
Outlaw: Yes we is!
Dolan: You both can't share the ReJect Championship.
Outlaw: How much you wanna bet?
Dolan: *sigh* Whatever. I would like to thank you all for watching the show this week! Join us next week with our special guest: Michael America!
The generic rock music was heard again. Slowly, the camera zoomed away from Dolan's face and eventually returned to its original positioning as the lights in the studio dimmed again. Texas Hold 'Em stood up from the couch and shook Dolan's hand individually before walking off of the set.
