Nuclear Friday: 11.05.2004
November 5, 2004 | Studio

11.05.2004

The show opens with a shot of a major hospital where all the injured superstars of VWA/SCW go when they need immediate medical attention. The camera pans through the hallways and into an elevator. Some elevator music is heard before a loud ding and the doors slide open. The camera moves down the hall till it comes to a door marked “202”. The camera stops dead at the doorway, showing what is going on inside.

Standing there in a white doctors gown is a male doctor and with him is a nurse in her green gown. Laying on the bed, with several different types of IV’s running out of him is Justin Konrad. From the looks of things, he is still in the coma that he was redered into at Hell Fest.

Nurse: Doctor, how long is it going to be before this man wakes up?

Doctor: To be honest, I’m not too entirely sure. I have never seen a patient who took so many boosts of electricity and still be alive. It’ll be a miracle if he doesn’t die in this coma, and an even bigger one should he wake up.

The camera enters the room, taking a closer look at the face of Justin Konrad. It is battered and bruised, also his overall size of his body is swollen. The nurse just shakes her head.

Nurse: It really is a shame to see such a young man in such jeopardy. Why would anyone want to do this to themselves and call it show business?

Doctor: Did you not see the match this man had? It was one of the best of all time! Ummm…I mean…yes, such a tragedy. But we have done all the testing we can do for today. Let’s leave this man be.

The doctor and nurse walk out of the room, leaving Justin Konrad to lay alone as he fights through his darkness. The camera gets one last close up look on Justin’s face before fading out to darkness.

The darkness breaks and the opening fireworks show for Nuclear Friday starts to go off as the theme song pounds through the arena in Toronto, Ontario Canada. The fans get to their feet in excitement as the opening show slowly starts to come to an end. The camera pans through the crowd as the last few pyros hit the air, finally coming to a rest on the announcer’s table.

Evan Hawk: Thanks for joining us fans as we are just coming off the heels of Hell Fest, and what a memorable PPV that was. Justin Konrad was crowned the first ever Unified Champion, but it did not come without it’s costs. As you fans witnessed at the beginning of the show, Justin Konrad has been placed in a coma and the doctors are not sure when he will be coming out of it.

Cal Hyms: If he is not able to compete soon, I think he should be stripped of his title. What good is a champion if he is incapacitated?

Evan Hawk: That’s very true, but that is a decision best left up to management. Speaking of management, they collided at Hell Fest as well. Just as it looked like Crimson Lord was going to win and Greg Manix would be forced to hand the company over, we had a huge return of wrestling legend and bitter enemy of Crimson Lord, Ron “The Southern Rebel” Hall.

Cal Hyms: Just when I thought I saw the last of that infidel, he comes back and knocks the man out with a loaded boot. If not for him, we would have seen the last of the joke known as Greg Manix running this company.

Evan Hawk: Well other matches included Slayer against MotoPsycho, tag confrontation between Justin Evers with Phoenix versus Fury and his manager Isis, and the Loser Leaves town match which had a stunning outcome between Damion and Kevin Hawk. If you missed the PPV fans, it can still be caught on PPV channels all across the globe for a reduced price. But that brings us to tonight. We are here in Toronto Ontario Canada to kick off our Canadian tour that leads up to Survivor in LA on November twenty first!

Cal Hyms: I don’t see why we have to cross this country. What makes the management think that America Junior has anything to offer?

Evan Hawk: If you knew anything, you would know that our co-owner was born in this great country and founded the SCW here. So all in all, the company has some roots here. But what a line up we have coming off Hell Fest. Death makes his return to the ring here tonight against Fury.

Cal Hyms: And you can bet Death will show why he is the man who should rightfully be wearing that Unified Championship. If it wasn’t for some talentless moves from Winter, Death would have destroyed Konrad at Hell Fest.

Evan Hawk: That remains to be debated as it never took place. But also fans, we have Phoenix facing off against Ebony, Arch Angel debuts finally against Justin Evers and Damian Skyy faces off with Slayer.

Cal Hyms: Yeah, yeah, enough chitter chatter, let’s get to the match already.

Evan Hawk: Not so fast Cal. First we have a commercial break.

The show cuts to commercial. As we come back from commercial, we see JT standing by Slayer’s locker room.

JT: Well fans as you can see behind me is the locker room of Slayer, who as of late has been on a roll. However tonight he has Damian Skyy to tangle with who came off a huge victory to keep his job against Kevin Hawk and Damien.

JT knocks on the door, and the door flies open as Slayer stares coldly at JT.

Slayer: What do you want!

JT: Slayer, I just wanted to get your thoughts on your match with Skyy tonight?

Slayer: Damian Skyy or Mr. Light, tonight I continue my streak of demolishing all in my path. I don’t care what you believe in; tonight you step into that ring with the hottest superstar in this company! Once I have beaten you to a pulp, you’ll receive your early Christmas gift the Slaydown!

Slayer looks at JT with a sneer

Slayer: Now get the hell out of my face!

Slayer slams the door in front of JT’s face. JT looks at the camera stunned a bit.

JT: Back to you Hawk.

Evan Hawk: Well it appears Slayer is determined to make a example out of Damian Skyy here tonight.

Cal Hyms: Mr. Light is going to be demolished, Slayer has be a unstoppable force as of late, and I don’t see Skyy coming out of this one. In fact, he may be carried out the way Slayer has been destroying his competition.

Evan Hawk: We’ll find out next fans!!

Match 1
Damian Skyy vs. Slayer

"Stress" by Godsmack starts over the speakers. The arena lights slowly dim down to nothing as a single red spotlight shines on the entranceway. As the song begins to pick up, the lights on the stage begin to flicker. Slowly, Slayer walks from the back and steps into the spotlight. The camera zooms into an upper body shot, as Slayer continues to stand onthe ramp, nostrils flaring, and mouth turned up into his well known smirk.Slowly, Slayer begins his walk to the ring, his duster fluttering slightly behind him. He reaches the ring and ascends the ring steps, stopping once again to look at the crowd and sneer before he enters the ring. Immediately upon entering the ring, Slayer leans into the near corner for a few seconds. The camera zooms into a shot of Slayer's dark black eyes as they stare lifelessly ahead, awaiting the beginning of the match.

Evan Hawk: You have to feel some sympathy for this man. He has just lost a loved one in the past week. His mother passed away from a cancer that Slayer as not made aware of that she had for three years. God rest her soul.

Cal Hyms: Yeah, even I won’t make a wise crack about this one. I’m surprised Slayer is even here to wrestle tonight.

Evan Hawk: That just shows what kind of dedication Slayer has to the VWA/SCW. And with the state of mind he is in right now, as we saw earlier, Skyy may have some trouble winning this one.

As “No Leaf Clover” starts to play a dozen of Damian's followers dressed in white robes walk out in two lines holding torches, they line up along the entranceway and hold the torches up in a "salute" type manner. As they are finishing lining up two women in short white dresses walk out and start to spread white rose petals onto the walkway. After about halfway down the entranceway spreading rose petals white pyro shoots up around the entranceway and once it dies down standing in his wrestling gear is Damian Skyy.

Evan Hawk: These two were on a crash course in SCW before Damian was suspended by the infamous Mr X.

Cal Hyms: That Mr X sounded like he was a sort of brilliant guy. Too bad we got stuck with Manix.

Damian has walked down the ramp and entered the ring. He now stands eye to eye with Slayer, waiting for the bell to ring. The two men trash talk as “Play Me” by Korn and Nas plays. Manix walks out onto the ramp with bandages on his face, obviously still banged up from his match at Hell Fest.

Evan Hawk: You called his name and now here he is. He looks horrible however after his grueling match with Crimson Lord at Hell Fest.

Cal Hyms: I don’t see why the fans bother to cheer for this cheater. If he didn’t take advantage of an interference, he wouldn’t be here.

Greg Manix walks to the center of the ramp before coming to a halt and raising the mic to his mouth.

Greg Manix: Before you guys tear one another apart, I want to make a little change to this little match here. Since there was a lot of downright gory stipulations at Hell Fest, and I am still kinda feeling all the hype, I decided to come out here and add a little more to this match. Slayer, I know the mood you are in and what kind of environment you tend to enjoy. Damian, as long as I knew you in the past, you always preferred this type of lifestyle too. Tonight, we won’t see Damian Skyy and Slayer wrestle in a singles match.

The fans boo at the announcement, thinking the match is going to involve different wrestlers.

Greg Manix: No you see, tonight we are going to see Damian Skyy and Slayer face off in a classic HARDCORE match!

The fans boos turn back to cheers as they hear the sudden announcement. Damian Skyy and Slayer look at each other and Slayer nods his head with a grin on his face.

Greg Manix: Let’s get some weapons down here and get this started!

”Play Me” by Korn and Nas plays again and Manix makes his way up the ramp and to the backstage while some stagehands run down the ramp and dump some of the classic hardcore weapons into the ring. The bell rings and the two men tie up, trying to get the first move off so they can be the first to the weapons. They struggle back and forth eventually breaking apart.

Evan Hawk: Greg Manix has spiced this match up by making a sudden booking sheet change.

Cal Hyms: All that fool did was place more risk between these two men. These two already dislike each other, why take it to the next level?

Slayer throws a hard right at Skyy, but Skyy catches his fist and does an armbar takedown. He then reaches out, grabbing a trash can lid before standing to his feet. He waits for Slayer to get to his feet before smashing the lid over his head. Slayer stumbles into the ropes and hangs onto them to stop himself from falling. He tries to go after Skyy again, but gets much the same treatment as before. Slayer falls back to the ropes again and Skyy runs at him, smashing him in the face with the trash can lid. Slayer flips backwards and lands hard on the outside of the ring.

Evan Hawk: Slayer is off to a bad start here for someone who dominated the Xtreme division in SCW.

Cal Hyms: Give the guy a break, lackey. He probably has a lot on his mind.

Slayer stands to his feet and slides back in under the bottom rope. Skyy tries to swing the lid at him again, but this time Slayer manages to duck the attempt, hitting a reverse DDT on Skyy. Slayer then picks up a steel chair and slaps it against the mat a few times, getting some boos from the crowd. Skyy stands to his feet and Slayer cracks him across the back with the steel chair. Skyy stumbles forwards then turns to look at Slayer, only to get the steel chair in the face. The chair dents on impact with Skyy’s skull, sending Skyy to the mat. Slayer disposes of the bent chair, then pulls Skyy to his feet. He lifts Skyy to his feet then into the air. He walks over to where a trash can is and lifts a struggling Skyy into a vertical position and drops him head first on the trash can with a Brainbuster.

Evan Hawk: That move looked like it almost killed Skyy.

Cal Hyms: He looks like he is about to meet his master of the “Light” a lot sooner than he anticipated.

Slayer stands back to his feet and stomps on Skyy a few times before pulling him to his feet. Slayer sends Skyy to the corner and Skyy crashes into the turnbuckles hard. Slayer moves in smashing Skyy in the face with a few elbows before lifting him up on the turnbuckle. He grabs a table and sets it up before returning to Skyy. He stands up on the turnbuckle and is about to DDT Skyy through the table when Damian shoves him backwards onto the table himself. Slayer lands on the table but it doesn’t break so Skyy stands up fully and leaps off the turnbuckle, driving an elbow straight into the chest of Slayer. Both men go crashing through the table, Slayer getting the worst. Damian pulls up Slayer’s leg, attempting the pinfall.

Ref: 1….2….kickout!

Evan Hawk: A kickout by Slayer at the very last second. Talk about resilience.

Cal Hyms: With the mood Slayer is in, he probably didn’t even feel that.

Skyy stands groggily to his feet and grabs Slayer by the head and drags him up. He tries to hook Slayer up for a belly to belly but Slayer reverses the move, setting Skyy up for the Slaydown. Slayer hits the move and hooks Damian’s leg.

Ref: 1……2……3!!

Evan Hawk: Slayer wins it with a split second Slaydown!

Cal Hyms: Yeah, but it doesn’t look like Slayer is finished just yet.

Slayer pulls Damian Skyy to his feet again. Damian is still feeling the effects of the unexpected Slaydown. Slayer pulls a kendo stick up off the mat and nails Skyy across the face with it. Skyy goes to the mat and Slayer starts to lace into him with the kendo stick. He pulls Damian to his feet again, cracking him across the face with what is left of the kendo stick again. The splinters fly through the air as the kendo stick shatters across the face of Skyy. The fans are booing heavily as Slayer throws the kendo stick down and proceeds to pull Skyy up again.

Cal Hyms: It looks like Slayer has snapped.

Evan Hawk: He could seriously injure Skyy if someone doesn’t help quick.

Cal Hyms: Skyy better start praying to “The Light” that his ass doesn’t get killed.

Slayer locks Skyy into the Cross Edge as the fans go silent. Down the ramp runs Evers and he slides into the ring. Slayer drops Skyy and goes to take Evers head on. Slayer tries to clothesline Evers, but Evers ducks it. He quickly hits Slayer with a stunner, causing Slayer to roll out of the ring and head for higher ground. Evers walks over to Skyy and starts to help him up as the fans give him a mixed reaction for his actions.

Evan Hawk: Evers saves Skyy, but I don’t get it. I thought Evers would be against Skyy for defeating him just before the PPV.

Cal Hyms: I have no idea but it is time for a commercial break.

The show goes to commercial. When it comes back, it is focused in above the ring. "Master of Puppets" hits the airwaves as the lights go out. Fireworks explode around the entrance after a few seconds and the Shockatron flashes up images of Winter taking various wrestlers out throughout his career. Winter starts to make his way towards the ring, slapping the outstretched hands of his fans. As he reaches the bottom of the ramp he turns and punches the air in time to his music - now with his back to the ring. The crowd goes wild as he backflips towards the ring, flipping up onto the apron before vaulting over and landing in the centre of the ring. He climbs each turnbuckle in turn, posing for pictures before returning to the centre of the ring.

Evan Hawk: This is unexpected. Winter was not booked to be here tonight, but it looks as though he has something to say.

Cal Hyms: I hope he isn’t going to brag about winning the lottery again. That’s all the greedy bastard needed.

Winter: As you all know, over the past month or so, I have been declining to appear at the shows due to a busy schedule. I also won the lottery, so I had no need to wrestle for money. But you guys saw as my schedule got more and more loaded, my performances started to go down hill. That’s why I am coming to you here tonight, in front of all my fans and familiar wrestlers backstage, to announce that I am hanging up my boots. I have sufficient money to support my new child and to have a good life and don’t need to risk losing that by putting my body on the line.

The lights slowly dim as Winter looks toward the entrance confused.

Evan Hawk: What is this?

Cal Hyms: You feel that?

Evan Hawk: Ok who turned the AC up?

”Dracula Nosfeartu” by Cradle of Filth hits, as Gaze and Phoenix step from behind the curtain closely followed by Crimson Lord and Death the four stand in a obtuse triangle.

Evan Hawk: The rumors are true The Forsaken are whole once more.

Cal Hyms: You can smell the scent of death in the air. Man what a awesome group.

The women lead the men of the group toward the ring.

Evan Hawk: These people have got no respect, interrupting Winter who is retiring and trying to say his final farewell to all these fans.

Cal Hyms: Well, do you honestly think Crimson was going to let Winter go so easily.

Evan Hawk: Yea, I can’t believe he is this heartless.

The Forsaken all climb in the ring and surround Winter who looks in all directions in awe.

Evan Hawk: Man this does not look good fans, Winter is trapped.

Death pulls a mic out of his jacket. He stares coldly at Winter, as he raises the mic to his mouth.

Death: You got two choices Winter, leave here on your own two feet…..or be CARRIED OUT!

Cal Hyms: Winter has a choice here; see they weren’t here to demolish him.

Evan Hawk: Can he trust that though, and I don’t think Winter likes to be threatened

Winter looks around, as The Forsaken stare coldly at him. Winter raises his hands in front of him and nods. He is let through by Phoenix and Gaze, as he exits the ring, very disappointed. He turns around as he back tracks up the ramp way he waves to the fans. Death stands by the ropes nearest to the entrance.

Death: That’s right say goodbye to the rest of these people, Winter you were a nothing before and you will always be a nothing. You have wasted Crimson’s time, and money. Go make use of yourself at a McDonalds or some other low-level trash minimum wage job. Subject yourself to what all these people do for a living!

Winter stares angrily at Death, and shakes his head as he turns around and slowly walks up the ramp.

Death: You are the most worthless man alive, get the hell out of this company and the next time we see you it will be the last time you step foot in this business!

Evan Hawk: Unbelievable, Winter has been completely humiliated and disrespected by these bullies.

Death returns to the middle of the ring.

Death: NOW, as you all witness at the beginning of this show our so-called Unified Champion is lying in a hospital bed in a coma! You can thank me for that! After I shocked the world by completely obliterating Justin Konrad! I showed the entire world just how PATHELTIC! the man truly is. If I were in that match the results would have been different I would be standing here the VWA/SCW Unified Champion!

The fans boo loudly as Death sticks his nose up in the air in a arrogant pose, as Phoenix and Gaze clap their hands, and Crimson just smirks.

Evan Hawk: Death was the one that put Konrad in the hospital; he may never recover from his coma either. That’s something you can truly be proud of huh Death!

Cal Hyms: You know both Crimson Lord and Death have now put someone in a coma at least one time in their careers. That has got to tell the world that The Forsaken are for real!

Evan Hawk: Heartless bastards!

Death continues to speak

Death: Now Crimson has gone ahead and forced Coma Boy to defend his title against The Spectre, this Tuesday. Regardless if Coma Boy is out of the coma or not.

Crimson smirks as does Gaze.

Evan Hawk: That’s NOT fair! How could Manix allow this?

Death: Am I upset that I was not named the challenger no cause I know I’ll get my chance! Now I move onto another nat that seems to want to get in my way Fury.

The fans erupt in cheers as Death and the rest of The Forsaken look at the crowd in disgust.

Death: Typical Canadian trash

More boos for that remark

Death: Fury, tonight you face the unstoppable force, the man that is going to destroy whatever hope you have of trying to upset me. Do you honestly think that you are even worth my time? I have shit bigger turds than you! However, I could use a warm up and you Fury can be that warm-up. Tonight you step in that ring with part of the most dominate faction in this industry. Can you survive? Highly unlikely!

Death hands the mic to Phoenix; the fans boo loudly and start chanting BITCH, BITCH. Phoenix just stares coldly at the fans and than raises the mic to her mouth.

Phoenix: What must I do to prove I am the top woman in this sport? I have once again demolished Ebony; I have annihilated Isis WHO IS LEFT!? No one you fans call me a Bitch. I’m flattered, but frankly, Isis you are about as challenging as Ebony. You both have wasted my time, but it’s ok because each and every time I wrestled you I took pleasure in making you feel pain! We The Forsaken have returned and we are not going anywhere, and there is NO ONE! In that locker room that can pose a threat to us!

Phoenix hands the mic to Crimson, who slowly takes it and a huge boo chant is heard as the half owner looks out with disgust at the fans.

Evan Hawk: Crimson could not beat Mr. Manix at Hell Fest to regain control of his company; he has got to be furious.

Cal Hyms: He would of beaten him if it wasn’t for Ron Hall!

Crimson Lord: You know you all might think I am mad.

Crimson shakes his head

Crimson Lord: On the contrary, I am rather excited. Despite me, losing to Manix and not getting full control of my company that can come later on no big deal. I can demolish Manix anytime I want. But you Hall my old time friend. You stepped back into my world you wanted to charge at this bull head on. Well Hall I will be glad to put you in your place. I had thought I finished you off back in the UTA, but it appears I was wrong.

Chants of Hall are now heard throughout the crowd, as Crimson and the rest of The Forsaken stare out in disgust. Crimson walks to the ropes nearest to the entrance ramp, he leans against the top rope as Gaze does the same next to him, as Death and Phoenix lean against the turnbuckles.

Crimson Lord: Hall I have been wanting to get my hands on you ever since the UTA fell! But NOW…..NOW I get that chance the chance I have been yearning to get. I have tasted your blood boy and it was glorious. So I figure..

Crimson stands up and walks toward the center of the ring

Crimson Lord: What better way to reignite our battle by a match.

Evan Hawk: Crimson Lord is challenging Ron Hall!!

Cal Hyms: Their last match burnt down the house.

Crimson Lord: But you see not just any normal match, at Survivor because I don’t perform for free! You and me LAST DROP MATCH!

Evan Hawk: Last Drop Match?

Cal Hyms: No idea.

”Wild Wild West “by Will Smith, Crimson slowly turns his head to the entranceway as Death and Phoenix back off the turnbuckle and stares at the entranceway along with Gaze.

Evan Hawk: What who….ITS RON HALL!! Listen to these fans! Crimson looks irate.

Cal Hyms: Hall is back and it looks like he is ready for war! To bad Crimson will destroy him at Survivor.

Hall smiles at the fans and waves a bit, and pulls a mic out of his leather coat.

Ron Hall: Been a long time Crimson, remember when I took you out of the business HA HA

Crimson grinds his teeth

Ron Hall: Or when I electrocuted you and put you in the hospital.

Crimson has become red with anger

Ron Hall: HA HA those were some good times. But you know all of that fails in comparison when I cost you full control of your company. You know at first I said no, Manix could beat you on his own. Well, I just could not help myself for me to get the last laugh on you was priceless.

Hall points to the Shock-a-Tron showing still shots of Hall nailing Crimson with his super kick and showing Crimson motionless. Crimson is frockling in anger as Gaze tries to calm him down, Death is furious along with Phoenix.

Ron Hall: Looky here little Crimsonsy wimsy sleeping like a little baby.

The fans laugh as Hall snickers.

Evan Hawk: Hall is pushing all the right buttons here Crimson has become enraged.

Cal Hyms: Hall has a death wish, but these two know each other so well they know what makes each other tick.

Ron Hall: Now onto business at hand you challenged me to a match at Survivor……I ACCEPT! Nothing would please me more than stepping in that ring and breaking your right ankle again…..OOPS! did I just say that aloud.

Crimson has reached his boiling point and now Death is holding him back along with Phoenix and Gaze.

Ron Hall: You know its funny Crimson, how much of a history we have. How can we really top what each of us has done to one another. Honestly, I have no idea, but we do perform to please all these fans now don’t we.

The fans erupt in cheers as Hall nods to them while he paces back and forth on the stage.

Ron Hall: So you know what I can’t wait until Survivor so I am just going to come down their and beat your ass now!

The fans erupt in cheers Crimson calms down and now begs Hall to get in the ring.

Evan Hawk: Does Hall have a death wish, its 1 against 4!

Cal Hyms: Looks that way, I always knew country folk were stupid but Hall really takes the cake.

Hall slides in the ring and his assaulted by The Forsaken.

Evan Hawk: Hall is being mauled here. WAIT A MINUTE Fury and Isis are running down the ring, Gaze and Crimson are assaulting Hall but now Death is being attacked by Fury, and Isis has Phoenix on the ground pounding her head into the mat. Hall is fighting his way back up!!! Big clothesline and Death goes over the top rope to the outside by Fury, Isis does the same to Phoenix. Gaze is running! Hall and Crimson are fighting back and forth listen to these fans.

Hall eye gouges Crimson, stunning the big man. Hall backtracks and super kicks Crimson in the jaw, Crimson hits the mat.

Evan Hawk: FURY ON THE TOP ROPE HIGH RISE!!! On Crimson!! Death pulls Crimson out of the ring, as Fury, Isis and Hall raises their hands in victory as Death and Gaze help Crimson to the ramp way, as Crimson holds his stomach and stares angrily at Fury, Isis and Hall.

Evan Hawk: The Forsaken have been taken care of man Fury gets a little piece of revenge for Crimson assaulting him at Hell Fest. Man what a night it has been!!

Cal Hyms: Fury is a dead man along with his newfound friend Ron Hall!

Evan Hawk: Fans after that display of courage from Ron Hall, we have to move the night along with the Justin Evers versus Arch Angel match.

Match 2
Justin Evers vs. Arch Angel

"When Worlds Collide" by Powerman 5000 ring through the arena. In addition, red lasers begin to shoot all through the arena, like heat seeking missiles. The two lasers meet in the ring and spell out the name of the former nWoM tag team and VWA world champion, Justin Evers. As Spider One belts out the first chorus, the man himself appears on the stage accompanied by Damian Skyy. The two men make their way down the ramp and Justin climbs into the ring while Damian stays on the outside.

Evan Hawk: We still have yet to get an explanation why Justin Evers helped Damian and now we need to know why they are together for Justin’s match.

Cal Hyms: Just relax and things will play themselves out.

The fans erupted as the lights dimmed and “I Disappear”by Metallica played throughout the arena. All eyes focused on the entrance ramp as a shadowy figure appeared in the light. Arch Angel was shown standing at the top of the ramp for a brief moment, as he burst into a run and dove into the ring. Angel then circled the ring while staring into the crowd. And with the crowd still cheering him on he jumped up onto the apron, and walked into the ring.

Evan Hawk: This man was an early signing for VWA/SCW but has never been used yet. We’ll see here tonight what this young man can possibly do.

Cal Hyms: If you ask me, this guy looks more like a comic book character rather than a wrestler.

The bell rings and Evers immediately grabs Angel and throws him to the ropes. When he comes back, Evers plants him with a spinebuster. Evers walks around to his head and pulls him to his feet. He kicks him in the stomach and plants him into the mat with a DDT.

Evan Hawk: Evers is tearing Arch Angel apart in the opening of this match.

Cal Hyms: I knew he’d school this young wanna be.

Evers drags Angel to his feet, this time he releases several punches to the young man’s head, backing him into the corner. Evers kicks Angel several times before grabbin Angel by the hair and throwing him to the mat. Evers climbs up the ropes and leaps off with the Black Out. He hits Angel right on target, pinning him right after the move.

Ref: 1…..2…..3!!

Evan Hawk: And in the blink of an eye, this one’s over.

Cal Hyms: Ever’s ran this youngster over. Look, Damian Skyy has entered the ring and brought Justin Evers a mic.

Justin Evers: I was heading down a dark path of self destruction, only I didn’t realize it. Day by day, my soul was being consumed by evil I did not even know existed. But now, all that is in the past. I have seen “The Light” and now I am a loyal follower.

Justin hands the mic to Damian.

Damian Skyy: My brothers, the words that Justin speaks are true. He has seen the truth that I have been trying to speak since I came to this federation. And he ahs performed his first act of selflessness by saving me from the hatred that has consumed Slayer. He has put his life into the hands of “The Light” and soon, all you will join him.

”No Leaf Clover” plays and both Damian Skyy and Justin Evers make their way up the ramp. The fans cheer at the newly created alliance between the two men. They walk through the entrance curtains and to the backstage area.

Evan Hawk: The fans seem to be appreciating the new found friendship between Evers and Skyy.

Cal Hyms: It makes me sick. How could Evers sell out like that?

Evan Hawk: We have to get to the next match without dwelling on it.

Match 3
Phoenix w/Death vs. Ebony

”HellRaiser” by Suicide Commando plays and the fans boo as Phoenix makes her way out onto the ramp with Death. The two members of The Forsaken make their way down the ramp. Phoenix steps up the ring steps while Death holds her hand then releases his hand before stepping through the ring ropes.

Cal Hyms: It’s really great to see these two back together. Phoenix seemed lost without Death.

Evan Hawk: As much as I might get hated for saying this, it is good to see Death back in the VWA/SCW injury free.

"Dip it low" by Christina Milian plays and Ebony makes her way out onto the ramp. The fans cheer as she makes her way down the ramp and slides into the ring. She immediately goes for Phoenix, throwing rights and lefts. She gives Phoenix a snapmare via the hair and mounts her, feeding her right hands.

Evan Hawk: The fans are getting behind this feistiness from Ebony.

Cal Hyms:It won’t take Phoenix long to get back on top of this one.

Ebony pulls Phoenix up, but Phoenix slaps her hands away. She unloads right hands to the face of Ebony before scoop slamming her. Phoenix then proceeds to drop a leg across the throat of Ebony. She pulls Ebony to her feet and whips her to the ropes. On Ebony’s return, Phoenix flips her high into the air. She lands hard and Phoenix grabs her by the legs, moving her to the center of the ring.

Evan Hawk: Phoenix has taken control of this one.

Cal Hyms: And you are surprised? She manages the man who could be the best to ever step foot in VWA/SCW, don’t you think she would pick up on some things?

Phoenix grabs the legs of Ebony, locking them into a figure four. Ebony tries to get out of the hold, but while the ref isn’t looking, Death grabs onto the arms of Phoenix, increasing the pressure on the hold. Ebony can’t take it and soon taps out.

Evan Hawk: And another match is over just as soon as it started.

Cal Hyms: Ebony was outmatched since the bell rang. I hope she doesn’t try to go on some sort of revenge trip because the way I see it, Phoenix took it easy on her.

Evan Hawk: Well we have to take our last commercial break. We have our main event after these messages from our sponsors. Death…Fury…NEXT!!

The show cuts out to show several different commercials from the companies that sponsor VWA/SCW and make the shows possible. When it comes back the fans are on their feet, cheering for the man who stands in the ring. The camera moves in and it is none other than Jim Carrey.

Jim Carrey: Hello fans, I was asked to be here tonight as a special guest ring announcer by Greg Manix. Seeing as he is Canadian and I am always looking to support those trying to make it in show business and especially those from my home country. So without further delay, here is our first contestant. He is six foot two and weighs in at two hundred and ten pounds. Hailing from St. Paul , Minnesota, he is Fury!!

“Let Me In” by Young Buck plays and Fury’s manager Isis appears on the stage first she points to the entrace way and out walks Fury, he makes his way down to the ring shaking or slapping a few hands here and there, when he gets to the ring he walks to the far side of the ring and gets on the apron, he then does a Randy Orton type pose, and opens the ropes for his manager to get in the ring, he then gets in the ring and walks to the ropes he puts one leg on the middle rope and one leg on the third rope and thrusts his fist in the air to the crowd.

Evan Hawk: Great pop for Fury here as he has been on a rise as of late.

Cal Hyms: Fury has had quite the impressive record building up. Too bad Death is going to end it right here.

Jim Carrey: Our next contestant hails from San Antonio Texas. He weighs in at three hundred pounds and is an amazing six foot ten feet tall. Formerly known as the VWA World Champion and known for leaving opponents devastated in the ring, his name is Death!!

”HellRaiser” by Suicide Commando plays and Death’s opening movie starts to play. The fans boo as the lights dim out and only a spotlight remains. Death steps out from the back with Phoenix tailing behind him. The two make their way down to the ring, refusing to acknowledge the boos from the fans. Death makes his way into the ring over the top rope and walks over to face Fury face to face.

Evan Hawk: Death has the advantage in both the weight and height division here. That could prove to be an obstacle for Fury.

Cal Hyms: Yeah, but it’s not his height or weight that makes him lethal. It’s his total lack of compassion for the fellow man.

The bell rings and, you guessed it, slug fest between the two men as soon as it is heard. Fury manages to back Death up till he is almost in the corner, but Death fights back with some powerful rights. Fury back up to the ropes and bounces off of them, running at Death. Death side steps him and as he passes by, he gives him a shove to help send him flipping through the air and to the mat. Fury gets back to his feet and Death grabs him by the arm and pulls him in for a short arm clothesline.

Evan Hawk: Death leading in the early moments.

Cal Hyms: Get used to it. This is going to be course of most of the match.

Death pulls Fury to his feet. He grabs him, delivering the Final Hour. The straight jacket suplex sends Fury crashing to the mat. Death goes to pull him up again, but Fury fights his way free. He chops Death across the chest a few times before jumping in the air, releasing a dropkick to the face of Death. Death stumbles back but remains on his feet. Fury jumps up the turnbuckles. Death starts to come towards him and Fury leaps off, nailing Death with hurricarana.

Evan Hawk: Fury must have some power in his legs to flips a man with the weight of Death.

Cal Hyms: He just caught Death off guard. Let’s see him try that again.

Fury gets to his feet and drags Death up by the head. He does the splits, punching Death in the face on the way down. Death stumbles back and Fury rushes at him, attempting a clothesline. Death lifts his foot, causing Fury to run straight into a big boot. Fury falls to his back and holds his face as Death stalks over to his legs. He grabs a hold of Fury’s legs, locking him into the “Obsolete”. Fury screams out in pain as Phoenix smiles in support of Death’s current match position.

Evan Hawk: Death has that deadly submission locked on. How long can Fury withstand something like that?

Cal Hyms: Fury should just tap out now and save himself the pain. Might as well get the match over with while Death is still in a somewhat of a good mood.

Fury reaches his arm out as if he is trying to grab the rope or something for support. Death sees that Fury is almost finished and leans more of his weight into the move. Fury screams out but refuses to tap. He starts slowly trying to fight out of the move. He finally grows smart and pulls on one of Death’s legs. Death almost loses his leverage on the move, but manages to hold on. Fury again screams in pain as he once again reaches for that foot. This time he manages to pull it out and Death falls to a knee, releasing the pressure on the hold. Fury flips Death off of him and gets to his feet.

Evan Hawk: I thought Fury was gonezo there for sure.

Cal Hyms: I can’t understand why Death seems to be going so easy on this man.

Death gets back to his full stance and lunges at Fury, but Fury grabs onto him, hitting the Fear Factor. Death lands hard and Fury gets back to his feet. He climbs up the top rope and points into the air, signaling he is about to perform his finisher. Fury leaps off, angling the High Rise just right. But just as he is about to land, Death lifts his legs into the air. Fury lands on them and bounces off them. Death gets back to his feet and pulls Fury to his. He raises Fury into the air, locking him into the Eternal Horror.

Cal Hyms: It’s all over now. Death has got this one in the bag.

Evan Hawk: I would not be the least bit disappointed in Fury for tapping. That move looks like it really hurts.

Death yells at Fury to tap, but Fury refuses. Death pleads with him to change his mind a few more times while increasing the pressure on the hold. Fury still refuses and Death drives him into the mat, turning the submission move to an impact. Fury’s eyes roll back into his head as Death rolls on top of him and hooks his leg.

Ref: 1….2….3!!

Evan Hawk: Death has won in his first match back from injury.

Cal Hyms: Yeah, he didn’t seem like he even missed a beat. Just goes to show how talented the members of The Forsaken really are.

Evan Hawk: A lot of big things went down tonight. Forsaken returned, Winter retired, Damian Skyy and Justin Evers have aligned. How will this be able to be topped?

Cal Hyms: I’m not sure but with a genius like Crimson Lord at the helm, we are bound to find out.

Evan Hawk: Well fans, that is the last bit of time we have here. Join us as we return to Shockwave where we will see what happens between Justin Konrad and Spectre’s rematch. Konrad is in a coma so there is no way he can possibly wrestle. But we’re out of time. See you on Tuesday!

The show credits come on the screen and the show cuts out with the final still of Death celebrating his victory over Fury in the ring with Phoenix.
