LIVEWIRE EXCLUSIVE WITH LA FLAMA BLANCA
he opening credits to a program begin to play on your screen. “The Turn: La Flama Blanca” soon fades. A camera pans down to a stage in the UTA Headquarters in Seattle. "Rumor Man” Stan Davis sits in a leather chair across from the highly talked about, La Flama Blanca. Camera fades into a close up of Stan Davis.
Stan Davis: Thank you for joining me tonight for this UTA Special Event. We are here with the most controversial man in the United Toughness Alliance, La Flama Blanca.
The cameras cut to La Flama Blanca; Sitting in nice dress clothes and his mask. He looks ready for television. The blue and black WrestleUTA logo dominates the backround.
Stan Davis: La Flama Blanca, I thank you for giving us the opportunity to hear from you. This couple of weeks has been… hectic to say the least.
The Luchador nods his head in agreement.
Stan Davis: Another UTA program filled with La Flama Blanca. A huge victory over Rodney Marney in front of your home country. You make your presence known in aiding Madman Szalinski against The Truth. Then you make another appearance in the Main Event.
La Flama Blanca: I’m a camera hog I guess.
The Luchador winks at the camera and smiles.
Stan Davis: How did it feel to be home; wrestling in front of your friends and family?
La Flama Blanca: It was great. I spent more time home. I was excited to get out there. A tough match and what closed the show.
Blanca laughs.
Stan Davis: A tough match against Rodney Marney ends with a La Flama Blanca win. The fans seemed to give you the edge.
La Flama Blanca: Definitely. I got a lot of power and strength from them. It was a big win that keeps me rolling. That whole night is a major achievement in the UTA and Pro Wrestling as a whole. It was an epic show that broke all kinds of records. My prints are all over it, can’t be better.
Stan Davis: You got some payback from The Truth later on in the show. You came to the aid of… your friend, Madman Szalinski. Tell me what was going on there?
La Flama Blanca: The Truth are a bunch of backwoods cousin lovers; who smell like water trash. They had that coming. I told everyone I’d get them back. I will continue to be a thorn in their side. Bet on it.
Stan Davis: Then during the Main Event, you, you do a complete 180. You are forever part of UTA history. You attack the new UTA World Champion, Yoshii. But before that you shock the sports entertainment world.
Blanca interrupts.
La Flama Blanca: I landed a perfectly placed Estupendo Kick on the chin of Madman Szalinski. Yes, I did do that. I did what was best for La Flama Blanca and I will continue to do that. Joining Dynasty, solidifying Dynasty, was something I couldn’t pass up. We are whole. The family is all together. No one saw it coming.
Stan Davis: I’m going to be honest, Blanca. I was not happy with any of the actions you were involved in as Wrestleshow came to a close. Turning your back on you’re friend and the fans who praise your name and you did all this in your homeland, Mexico.
La Flama Blanca: Stan, here’s the part where you shut your mouth and listen to what the hell I have to say. I will never get tired of the hate that is going my way. People in utter disgust that I joined the “bad guys”. Getting messages on Twitter and e-mails from fans and other athletes; giving me heat because I thought about my best interests. Who the hell are any of you to tell me how to live my life and to go about my business? Who the f**k are you?!
Davis comes right back.
Stan Davis: You are right Blanca. We have the right to be upset at what occurred. Lots of people looked up to you because of your fight and your athletic ability inside the ring. Your matches are highly talked about and the people love everything you seem to put your hands in. Being a fan, I’m disappointed…
La Flama Blanca: Disappointed? Who are you, my father? I’m an adult. I make my own decisions, Stan. I don’t give a rats ass how the fans feel about me anymore. That garbage did nothing for me. It got me a lot of money but honestly, the people that loved me will hate me and those who hated me will love me. Integrity and honor doesn’t get you far. Madman was handed a World title. He didn’t earn it. When it came time for him to defend it he was destroyed by Dynasty.
Stan Davis: I…
Blanca once again interrupts Davis.
La Flama Blanca: This is my time to talk. This isn’t me interviewing you, you’re listening to me talk. Alright? I will do everything in my power to make life miserable for Szalinski. Everyone wants to know; WHY? Why did you do it? Why’d you join Dynasty? Why’d you turn on Madman? I didn’t turn my back on Szalnski… he just forgot who is REAL friends are. If I knew it was going to be like that I would have said, “take it deep”. This isn’t over. Not until I end his career.
Stan Davis: Wow, strong words… What about Dynasty?
Blanca gets serious.
La Flama Blanca: I joined Dynasty because I’m tired of being used as someone to get the other guy the attention. Dynasty is running the UTA. When I was given this chance to truly better myself in the business; I jumped like a shark to get a seal. They’ve embraced me and I’m going to enjoy every second of this.
Stan Davis: Isn’t the self respect more important? You seemed humble despite your success.
La Flama Blanca: Stan, right now I’m one of the top stories in the UTA Universe and the rest of the Wrestling World. Everyone is talking about what happened at Wrestleshow. The kick, the kick seen round the world. I don’t give a damn how anyone feels about what I did. I’ve always been about the money, the fame, the gold. Which brings me to the Wildfire Championship…
Stan Davis: Being in Dynasty already going to your head, Blanca?
La Flama Blanca: Stan, I’ve been one of the top stars in the company since I debuted. I’ve only had ONE title shot since I’ve been here. I lost a close match to my Dynasty Brother CBR. I’m more than deserving of a shot for the Wildfire title and a rematch with Conrad Teller. I haven’t forgotten about that Chamber Match night. YOU get a no show and mean while some who has more than paid his dues in the UTA had to fight TWO matches. See this is what I’m talking about Stan. This is why I joined Dynasty. They show me the respect I deserve. They know how great The Cruiserweight is. I’m calling you out Teller. I want my rightful shot at the UTA Wildfire Championship.
Stan Davis: You lost a lot of respect after this past Sunday.
La Flama Blanca: Respect from the fans? You call it respect to vote me into a “no win” situation against Chris Hopper? A beatdown on Pay Per View. That was a one sided ass whipping if I ever did see one. The respect I lack is from the UTA higher ups. I’ve played ball since I’ve been here. They’ve given me opportunities but always a catch. First, the Ring King Tournament match against Yoshii with a Blindfold stipulation. Victim of circumstance, I’ll take that. Next, UTA’s “golden boy” Conrad Teller gets a night off while I had to have a match against I.M. Hate. Chance Von Crank f**cks everything up before the show and that’s how it’s solved? “Give the new kid an advantage.” Lot of respect shown there, not for me though.
The camera cuts in to wide shot of Flama Blanca.
La Flama Blanca: The “Chris Hopper Job Fest” was next. I put up a fight but I was no match that day for Hopper. Thanks guys. Should have let that beat nut Haynes win. Could have beat Hate for the millionth time. After all that, I get attacked by The Good Reverend on Wrestleshow. No one came to my aid. I don’t like looking like a fool, Stan. I’ve worked too damn hard in this game to have anyone look down on me. I’m La Flama Blanca. I’m the best in the world. Dynasty is the best in the world.
Cameras cut to a two shot with both men sitting in their chairs on the UTA stage.
Stan Davis: You’ve had your run ins with both Claude Baptiste Ranier and Perfection since you arrived here in the UTA. You have history with both men. Coming out on the other side of the decision.
La Flama Blanca: The dislike I had for both men was real. Both men are two of the best around. Everyone in that group thought enough of me to want to bring me on board. I lost close matches to both men. I respect them as athletes. They want me here. They’ve all been in my shoes. We’re not different. Each one of us has been wronged by the company. That won’t happen to us anymore. The past is the past between the three of us, Stan. We all have a common goal. I’ve been a fan of Sean Jackson since I arrived. Kathryn is a tough as nails competitor. Together we will run the UTA. This is going to be fun.
Blanca looks excited.
La Flama Blanca: Maybe they see me as a threat. Maybe they wanted to shock the world… they did, Now we are a family. With one goal, to run the UTA. No one person is bigger than the group. We will always have each others backs. Nice to know, I will actually have someone to watch my back. They’re not going to be playing with their dog’s toys or smoking hash joints, too f**cked up to even stand.
Stan Davis: Are you ready to handle the outrage from the fans, Blanca?
La Flama Blanca: I’m already dealing with it. I’’m ready for them to yell and scream obscenities like the mouth breathers they are. Call me a “sell out”, act ignorant like all fans do. I don’t care what they have to say. I’m still going to go out to the ring and hold my head up high. I’m going to beat that sumbitch across the ring from me and rub each win in their faces. The fans, everyone in the back, and the big wigs in Seattle. I will get what’s mine. I will be Wildfire Champion, Stan. It will only be a matter of time. I will even the score with Conrad Teller. I deserve my shot. Dynasty, deserves the Wildfire Championship, and I will put it on the mantle with the Internet Championship, the Tag Team titles and once again, the World Title.
Stan Davis: Anything else you’d like to say Flama Blanca?
La Flama Blanca: Wildfire Championship, Madman Szalinski, and The Truth. That’s it.
Stan Davis: Well thank you La Flama Blanca for giving us your view on Wrestleshow and answering many of the questions the whole sports entertainment world wanted to have answered. Thank you for tuning into this “One on One” interview with La Flama Blanca. Goodnight.
The camera pulls out zooming out on the two on the stage. The end credits begin as Davis and Blanca continue to talk. We fade to black.
