Samuel Scythe

The lights go completely dark in the arena, silence reigning for a moment, until the titantron flickers with an image of a scythe passing over a field and REAP WHAT YOU SOW flickers, followed by the heavy riff of the opening from ‘Useless Sacrifice’. A single spotlight then illuminates the stage where Samuel Scythe stands, hooded and looking right down at the floor. After a few moments, Scythe starts walking down the ramp, his focus only on the ring. He reaches the steps and climbs them up, stepping between the ropes and then unhooding himself, and doing a cut-throat gesture before moving over to his corner and waiting for the match to start.
