THE LEAGUE: WEEK THREE

The lights shine down on the ring in the center of the Nishikyogoku Athletic Stadium in Kyoto. The paid attendance of some 37,000 start cheering, knowing that the show is about to start as the camera pans down to ringside and the two-man commentary crew.

Bob Sinclair: Good evening, and welcome to Kyoto, Japan for the third week of League action!

Frankie Garnett: Bob, spare us the long-winded diatribe and get to the matter at hand, would you?

Bob Sinclair: Why are you in such a rush?

Frankie Garnett: Simple! The sooner we're done, the sooner I can get back to North America and eat something besides rice and raw fish!

Bob Sinclair: ...it's always about you, isn't it?

Frankie Garnett: What's wrong with that?

Bob Sinclair: Diamond comes in tonight as a bit of an underdog, Frankie. What does she have to do in order to pull out a win tonight?
