Since UTA is story-driven and combines AI-generated content with handcrafted results, our needs differ from most fantasy wrestling promotions. We operate as a collaborative group: the Owner establishes story-arc timelines and approves or creates major storylines, then hands them off to Handlers to bring to life.
We strive for every character to have an overarching story arc in UTA. Of course, not everyone will headline shows or win every match—just like in professional wrestling—but our goal is to craft fun, compelling narratives along the way.
Typically, the Owner will plan one to three months’ worth of shows at a time. Within that window, you’ll see full story arcs as well as shorter, “mini-arcs.” You’ll receive a brief outlining your character’s arc—its timeline, the ultimate goal, and the “why.” From there, you’ll collaborate with the Owner and other Handlers to develop:
-
Show segments
-
Character-development promos
-
Match outlines or key in-match moments
The more actively you advance the assigned story, the more opportunities your character will earn.
You won’t be expected to write novels—UTA is built for busy adults who can spend just 30–60 minutes per week participating. Most of the raw content can be generated with ChatGPT or similar AI tools; what really matters are the collaborative discussions and your creative input.
If you need help, the Owner can generate segments and matches for you, but taking the initiative yourself will accelerate your character’s growth. And if you’re new to story-driven wrestling or AI tools, don’t worry—we’ll coach you on how to format and polish your work so it fits seamlessly into our shows.
In short: when you join UTA, we expect you to be enthusiastic, to participate consistently, and to help tell stories as if you were part of a real professional-wrestling promotion. Welcome aboard!
