Orlando, Flor. -- WrestleUTA Inc. have released staff member/ring announcer Justin Roberts, one day after he was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and failure to obey a police officer.

WrestleUTA owner Mikey Unlikely opened his news conference after Friday's decision became public, with a reading of the official police report. He followed it up by saying he wishes Justin well moving forward, and WrestleUTA is dedicated to helping him fight this battle, and will support his wishes to pursue treatment.

"It's a statement to everyone in that locker room" Unlikely said after some meetings in Lakeland, Florida. "We had a difficult decision to make there."

"I talk to all the guys everyweek, before the shows and around holidays about always being a role model ," Unlikely added. "always make sure that I emphasizes what our standards are, which is don't be 'that guy.' And also to be focusing on what you're supposed to be doing for the team of guys who work so hard to put this show together."

In the same conference Mikey said that he would begin to interview applicants as early as Saturday morning, hoping to hire someone ahead of this Tuesday's show on Hulu.

More on this as it develops.
